How do you see the potential human evolution during this New Age?

OMM:

“Humanity today faces two possibilities: collective suicide or the biggest spiritual awakening that the world has ever known. ”This was the way OSHO - one of the greatest masters of the modern world – spoke, following the thoughts of those philosophers and scientists of the past, which just like him, observed the dawn of the third millennium.

Today we realize the daily slow agony that humanity inflicts on itself and how what could have been the “great awakening” is actually becoming a new anaesthetic, this time with the brand of the “new age”.

Even most of the people who, animated by their own expectations of the Age of Aquarius, have created new spiritual currents or social experimentations got stuck in the sterile dialectic of the politics or of the usual market economy, often at the price of naïve people, to the advantages of the new “gurus” which are smart enough to make a point of how they do not want to be called that way…

What is left besides the religious and lay fanaticism, and besides the indifferent consumers, which are used and addicted? What remains besides the illusion, after that another potentially authentic spiritual feeling has been betrayed, led astray, and exploited?

However, there is still people who don’t want to stop believing, having faith, and insisting.

What is the relationship between a spiritual path and the healing process and in which way we can consider meditation as a therapy?

OMM:
During these times of illusion and lack of knowledge of the human being’s essence, the human conscience is separated from the universal conscience, therefore, as oppose to this last one, it is subject to restrictions and experiences of duality (death and life, joy and sadness, sickness and health, etc...) and is constantly separated from the Whole, from joy and from harmony.
Since that there is no harmony between subjective and objective, between material and spiritual, between the outside and inside world, all the beings live in an eternal conflict, and from this derive tribulations, sufferings, and diseases.
It is therefore necessary to “free” the human conscience, and get rid of that veil which hides the reality; however, in order to do that we have to train our conscience and this is obtained through studying, self-discipline, and techniques of meditation. Engaging in yoga exercises, meditation, and esoteric gymnastic, leads to a complete slow down of physical and psychic tensions, it brings more equilibrium to our energies, it gives us the opportunity to see inside ourselves in order to contact those invisible forces which regulate the manifestation of the whole universe and which are the key to every single thing.
Through these forces it is possible to manage the flux of the vital energy, vibrant and real, towards any part of our body, and therefore re-establish the equilibrium, the harmony and the health condition.

Nevertheless, a school educating healers must be created starting from a school of thought and life, just like it was considered in many ancient civilizations.

A "School of Knowledge" must hold the keys to access the “initiatic” way to be connected with the pure vital energy sources. Attending a school of knowledge means to proceed through a concrete evolutionary experience and discover your own inner recall.

Becoming a healer is not only to study some topics or techniques, but involves a deeper transformation towards a “sacerdotal” dignity. It means also to enter in contact with a specific human, spiritual and energetic circle.

I can I access esotericism and magical experience?

OMM:

You want to talk about esotericism and are asking me about magic and about extraordinary spiritual experiences. For who? For your ego?
Ok, why not... but please remember the following words I just found on the web:

“... if you woke up this morning with
more health than illness...
you are more blessed than the million
who will not survive this week.

If you have never experienced the danger
of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ...
you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.

If you can attend a temple meeting without
fear of harassment, arrest, torture,
or death...you are more blessed than
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in the refrigerator,
clothes on your back,
a roof overhead and a place to sleep...
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change in a
dish someplace...you are among the
top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still alive and still
married...you are very rare, even in the United States.

If you hold up your head with
a smile on your face
and are truly thankful...you are blessed
because the majority can, but most do not.

If you can hold someone's
hand, hug them or even
touch them on the shoulder...you are blessed
because you can offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message, you just received a
double blessing in that someone was thinking of you,
and furthermore, you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.”

What is the authentic way to approach a spiritual path?

OMM:

Soul is an individual inner experience.
In itself it cannot be experienced in rituals or ceremonies, nor bottled in creeds or in methods.
Also in your activity and practical research, free from religion and dogma, don't confuse the ordinary science of life and even the extraordinary art of magic with the pure mystic of the Awareness. Nevertheless, we are here to unify them.

And keep in mind:

"...I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect. That is my point of view, and I adhere to that absolutely and unconditionally. Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be organised... The moment you follow someone you cease to follow Truth..."

Can you talk about the so-called “Friendship Island”?

OMM:

The south of Chile is surrounded by mysteries and myths. One of them is about an island that is supposedly inhabited by extraterrestrials or people that unlike ordinary human beings, posses a vast amount of knowledge in the fields of science, aeronautics, physics, mathematics, and medicine. The name of the island is "Friendship" and it is located in an island complex called Kent.

According to the legend, it is very hard to find. Some of the villagers that live nearby call the people form Friendship Island "angels", because according to descriptions, they are tall, blond-haired, they have blue eyes, and they dress up with strange-looking clothes. Some claim that they speak using a "spiritual tone". Furthermore, there are some that will actually offer the villagers to be taken to the mystery island to "get to know it", and at the same time, to get cured from illnesses that ordinary medicine cannot cure.

According to people that claim to have had contact with these strange characters, they were taken to the island by boats that they call "Mitylus". Many locals in the southern port of Montt have actually seen the boats, as they depart with the ill onboard to be taken to the island and receive their miraculous treatment. Some have claimed that the "Friendship People" actually may have up to seven "bases" around the world that may include: the south of Chile, Europe, Central America, the Bermuda Triangle, the United States, Africa and East Asia, which would also be intended for the purpose of "curing people".

Can you give us a definition of Esoteric Physics?

OMM:
Esoteric physics is the discipline that studies the laws of the universe and all the process through which practical magic works.

The main applications and studies of esoteric physics regard cosmology, space and time, the structure of the form, human perceptions and sensitivity and, in a certain way, natural medicines.

Esoteric physics explores all the correspondences of the universe with the human microcosms and its subtle and spiritual aspects: it’s a real pathway to knowledge and awareness, beyond this universe, towards the Infinite outside and inside of us. It concerns the “maximum systems” of magic, philosophical involving, subtle and divine ecosystems and, most of all, the energetic and spiritual complexity of Humankind.

The esoteric physics is the theoretical base of the mysticism and operative magic of the New Aeon. But it is also an excuse to tell, with new words and different formulas, things already told and known since always.

Keep in mind that esotericism (esoterism) is not a philosophy but a method of research and a way of life.

The Greek word “Esoterikos” means “to look inside”. Inside what? Inside symbols, hermetic concepts, initiatic teachings, ritual representations, in order to find all the hidden meanings beyond images and words.

For the Initiate this quest starts from him-herself. Actually, the Human Being is the most important and meaningful symbol and the most secret book of the Humanity.

For the “esoterologist” the bigger book is the history of the human religious and initiatic traditions, without borderlines between West and East. The most refined goal of any researcher is that to recover the ancient mysteries and to find the keys to understand them. For them this is a cultural matter, but for the Initiate this is experience: the Initiate wants to live accordingly with the teachings that are inside symbols, rites and words and only this way He-Her will not just understand but will comprehend what Esoterism is.

The human being is the universal “Athanor”, the alchemic vase in which the initiatic transmutation occurs. The aim of the Initiatic Science is to understand the Being and not to accumulate information. Understanding our mind means to understand our Project as well as understanding our soul means comprehend the Universe that reflects in.

Understanding our subtle conscience means to meet the image of God.

What is the role of the science?

OMM:

Suspicion about "reality" is a typical characteristic of our time. But the role of science as the “religion of our time” is even more typical, to the point that it has aroused the sarcasm of secular scientist Piergiorgio Odifreddi: “Natural theology has ceased to be the prerogative of priests and philosophers and has become a proving ground for scientists.” Einstein’s saying has become famous: “Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.”

To tell the truth, science today often seems to be carrying around the vice of bad religion, which is the conviction that reality has its own meaning apart from reality itself, closely akin to the conviction that reality has no meaning, period. Whether it is the invention of a computer or the deception of a demiurge (“the usual deception,” says Montale) matters very little. This is an attitude that goes beyond Matrix-type science. Plato already expressed it fully in his Myth of the Cave, which says that men are like enchained slaves, forced to see only the shadows of an illusion. It is no coincidence that Focus cites this myth as an early, authoritative hypothesis that reality lies elsewhere.

Matrix or Plato, the sensation is that of a Gnostic dead end, from which Péguy saves us: “It is tempting to deny the earth… one arrives at these vague spiritualisms, idealisms, immaterialisms, religiousisms, pantheisms.” Matrix or Plato, at Christmas we learned that “with Him everything exists, even the tiniest poplar leaf, ephemeral but existent.”

Truly, “the announcement that God has become Man” is the fact that “triumphs over all man’s disbelief and doubt.” And it is also the principle that simplifies life.

Let me read the following extract from Moonchild (LIBER LXXXI - The butterfly net) by Aleister Crowley:

"The Ancients, whose wisdom is so much despised by those who have never studied it, but content themselves with a pretence of understanding modern science which deceives nobody, would have smiled to observe how often the "latest discoveries" are equivalent to some fancy of Aristotle, or some speculation of Heracleitus. The remoter Picay-universities of America, which teach farming or mining, with a little "useless" knowledge as a side-course, for show, are full of bumptious little professors who would not be allowed to sweep out a laboratory in London or Berlin. The ambition of such persons is to obtain an illustrated interview in a Sunday supplement, with a full account of their wonderful discoveries, which have revolutionized the art of sucking eggs. They are peculiarly severe upon back numbers like Charles Darwin. Their ignorance leads them to believe the bombast of democracy-flatterers, who scream weekly of Progress, and it really appears to them that anything more than six months old is out-of-date. They do not know that this is only true of loud-shouted mushroom rubbish such as they call truth.

The fundamental difference between ancient and modern science is not at all in the field of theory. Sir William Thomson was just as metaphysical as Pythagoras or Raymond Lully, and Lucretius quite as materialistic as Ernst Haeckel or Buchner.

But we have devised means of accurate measurement which they had not, and in consequence of this our methods of classification are more quantitative than qualitative. The result has been to make much of their science unintelligible; we no longer know exactly what they meant by the four elements, or by the three active principles, sulphur, mercury, and salt. Some tradition has been preserved by societies of wise men, who, because of the persecutions, when to possess any other book than a missal might be construed as heresy, concealed themselves and whispered the old teaching one to another.

The nineteenth century saw the overthrow of most of the old ecclesiastical tyranny, and in the beginning of the twentieth it was found once more possible to make public the knowledge. The wise men gathered together, discovered a student who was trustworthy and possessed of the requisite literary ability; and by him the old knowledge was revised and made secure; it was finally published in a sort of periodical encyclopaedia (already almost impossible to find, such was the demand for it) entitled The Equinox.

Now in the science of antiquity, much classification depended upon the planets. Those things which were hot and fiery in their nature, lions, and pepper, and fevers, were classed under the Sun or Jupiter or Mars; things swift and subtle under Mercury; things cold and heavy under Saturn, and so forth.

Yet the principles of most of the planets appeared in varying proportions in almost everything; and the more equally these proportions were balanced and combined, the more complete was anything supposed to be, the nearer modelled on the divine perfection. Man himself was called a microcosm, a little universe, an image of the Creator. In him all the planets and elements had course, and even the Signs of the Zodiac were represented in his nature. The energy of the ram was in his head; the bull gave the laborious endurance to his shoulders; the lion represented the courage of his heart, and the fire of his temper; his knees, which help him to spring, are under the goat -- all works in, and is divided and subdivided in, beauty and harmony."

Can we consider the Evil like existing in itself?

OMM:

I’ll give you an answer by telling a famous anecdote:

Did God create everything that exists? Does evil exist? Did God create evil?

A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning challenged his students with this question "Did God create everything that exists?" A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!" "God created everything?" The professor asked. "Yes sir, he certainly did," the student replied. The professor answered, "If God created everything; then God created evil. And, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then we can assume God is evil."

The student became quiet and did not answer the professor's hypothetical definition.
The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, "May I ask you a question, professor?"
"Of course", replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" "What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?"
The other students snickered at the young man's question.

The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero -460F) is the total absence of heat; and all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."

The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?" The professor responded, "Of course it does." The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."

Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course, as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily examples of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil".

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat, or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down.

The young man's name: Albert Einstein.

Which is the link between pranatherapy (or pranic-healing) and Magick, Current 93 and Master Therion's teaching?

OMM:

Well, let Aleister Crowley give you some clue...

This is the Dew of Immortality.

Let this go free, even as It will; thou art not its master,
but the vehicle of It.

(Aleister Crowley, The Book Of Lies)

The essence of Magick is to working upon phenomena by spiritual forms of energy…

… matter is nothing but a sensitive symbol of spiritual causes of phenomena.
At this point we may reach out a hand to the East and droll for a moment upon the general theory of Prana. Prana is usually translated “force”. Perhaps energy would be a better term. We cannot say exactly what it is, but it is that which distinguishes live protoplasm from dead protoplasm. It is that - by virtue of - in which things live and move and have their being. It is a form of energy by whose adroit manipulation one can affect the outward appearances, that is to say the physical phenomena which are its reflection in the grossest world of illusion, that is to say, the world we know.
To give a practical example. If a man is ill, they diagnose that the prana in his body is in some way out of order, and they attempt to cure him by teaching him to control his prana by means of various exercises, principally of breathing, for they claim tha the principle vehicle of prana is the breath.

What is Meditation?

OMM:

Meditation is sitting.
In appearance it is doing nothing. But in this “nothingness” there is intense action: you are cultivating tranquillity and awareness.
When you are fully aware and serene, even your action changes in nature: it’s relaxed, free and satisfying.
Even if for an instant you do “nothing” , you will refind yourself in your centre – you are simply existing. You are meditating.
Meditation does not clash with action. It is not a case of “running” away from life.
In contrast, it’s about learning to live.

What is what you call as “magical vision of life”?

OMM:

Talking in terms of magic and magical thought doesn’t mean to reduce the importance of the rational and material aspect of things: the magical cycle of life doesn’t deny the rational order of the events, but set itself as a precedent cause. Nowadays the human being is used to think in terms of cause-effect and explains the reality by using this logic and denying the possibility of a different possible order. The magical vision of life, that is the idea that the law of the sequence of events goes beyond the cause-effect principle, is just the heritage of ancient cultures, esoteric schools and initiatic societies. Magic, magical thought and magical vision are related with a way of understanding life not just as a casual fluctuation of events which are organised in a rigid scheme of causes and effects, but as a Whole which dynamically interacts with the individual and collective use of the mind. Nevertheless this way of thinking doesn’t deny the evidence of the relation between cause and effect - at a more elementary and immediate level of observation -, but asserts the parallel existence of synchronised different agents which are simultaneously distributed on different plains of our reality.

What is “the Grail” form the esoteric point of view?

OMM:

Each one of us has got its own inner Grail to look for. It is that true and clean point inside of us representing our real essence. This essence keeps the power to solve all the contradictions the daily life puts in front of us and to achieve in having an authentic energetic exchange with this life. Often it seems that we and the reality are travelling on totally different plains: we are immerged in the vortex of things that occur around us but we are not capable to contact the real substance of these things and events. It is from the distance between us and the world that all those problems of frustration, adaptation and aggressiveness are born. However, there is a part of our soul from which the exchange and the communication between us and everything surrounding us proceeds and grows up. It is the deep matrix of our comprehension and real happiness.

Socrates said: “Know yourself and you will know the world”.
This is our Quest.

What is the relation between this quest and the method of the cerimonial magick?

OMM:

A sentence or two written many years ago by William Quan Judge in his pamphlet An Epitome of Theosophy express so exactly the impression to be conveyed that it is convenient to quote: "The real object to be kept in view is to so open up or make porous the lower nature that the spiritual nature may shine through it and become the guide and ruler. It is only 'cultivated' in the sense of having a vehicle prepared for its use, into which is may descend. "This conception is likewise the point of view of our magical system. The technical forms of Magick, such as Pentagram and other rituals, astral assumption of God-forms, evocations (though not necessarily to physical manifestation) of elemental and planetary spirits, skrying in the spirit-vision, and the invocation of the Holy Guardian Angel, are all performed with that single objective held ever before one. Theurgy and the exponents of the Eastern mysticisms are thus in complete accord on the fundamental theoretical principles.
