A generic meaning of Ritual

From the esoteric-initiatic point of view the Ritual is a Magic Action which put in contact the human being with the Universe and all the inner and outer Forces and Intelligences that – at different levels – create all the natural, energetic, subtle and spiritual ecosystems of all the Dimensions, Spaces, Times and beyond.

Every Ritual is a coordinated whole of gestures, formulas, thoughts and actions which allow to act on all the different physical, psychical and spiritual plains of the reality.

The power of the Ritual is proportional to the operator’s level of conscience, the will-knowledge-energy that are invested and the stratification in Time and in the Collective Mind. The Ritual goes beyond the space-time in which it is officiated and allows joining archetypal primeval collective - human and divine - energies.

Form the magical point of view the ritual is never just a symbol or a sort of dramatization but it always moves causes and provokes effects accordingly with precise laws.

Nevertheless, a “magic operation” in itself must not be automatically related to the concept of ritual. As a matter of fact, a magic or alchemical act can run in a specific context accordingly with procedures which can also be “non-ritual” – that is codified and stratified in time  – but that are anyhow referred to the general praxis of magic, so they are effective in the various plains of the reality and of the conscience in proportion to the knowledge and the energies which are involved.
